Look I started out somewhat on bandlab in mid 2020 then finally bought FL studio producer in summer 2021 and let me tell you I had no idea what to do I was completely overwhelmed by everything specially the stock synths (sytrus is very good always use it if you buy fl) but seriously the question you want to ask yourself is how much are you willing to dedicate your time to producing because I started out on FL as a complete noob and beginner but I was determined to understand this daw so if you stick at it for a few weeks and you'll have a basic understanding of it and by 2 months I knew the insides and outs of this daw I recommend the youtube channel "in the mix" for starting out as he greatly helped me start out in FL and then whatever genre you wish to create look at tutorials on youtube for that specific genre.
